A GREAT GLAMOUR HOLIDAY NIGHT!

We would like to thank all the members and friends that went to our 2016’s GLAMOUR Holiday Night last Tuesday and turned it into a pleasant gathering.

BBG – Brazilian Business Group, ABIInter – Brazilian Press Association and Rotary Boca West commemorated another great year and you were an important part of that.

 THE SUCCESS OF THE I BRAZIL-FLORIDA SUMMIT, AN INITIATIVE OF THE BRAZILIAN BUSINESS GROUP (BBG) AND THE THE CENTRAL FLORIDA BRAZILIAN AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (CFBACC).
 

It is with great pride and happiness that we inform our members, friends and associates the success achieved by the I Brazil-Florida Summit, held on November 15th morning at the Office Depot Center for Executive Education, at the FAU Campus in Boca Raton, Fl. .

All three Panels focused practical and important subjects for the selected audience, through in depth discussions related to Immigration, Entrepreneurship and the improvement of the relations between Brazil and Florida. Important topics were duly clarified and information provided for all professionals and business owners interested on the subjects, nowadays of great importance to all Brazilians, Americans and Brazilian Americans.

The First Panel, conducted  by   Dr. Michael William, representing  FAU, and the Ambassador Alexandre Addor Neto, from the National Institute of Strategic Studies, from the Fluminense Federal University (INEST/UFF), from the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, focused in the importance and great impact that a professional and serious exchange of knowledge and research in topics of mutual interest to the Great State of Florida and Brazil , can positively impact in the development of both parties of the equation, such as  the  economic, financial, political  and social  aspects of life. 

Words also mentioned the immediate start of programs aiming at the exchange of teachers, researchers and students in the various segments strategic to the improvement of relations at all levels between Brazil and Florida. We are proud to inform that the brokerage of the above referred association between INEST and FAU, was conducted by the Brazil International Foundation, to which BBG is also associated. BBG is also proud to inform to the Brazilian American community that more events of similar or higher quality are on our pipeline, and will be announced on due time. For the utmost success of our initiatives, we count with the continuous support of all our readers, interested in the improvement of the relations between Brazil and Florida, becoming our members and/or participating in our programs and projects.

The I BRAZIL-FLORIDA SUMMIT, realized by BBG – BRAZILIAN BUSINESS GROUP in alliance with CFBACC – CENTRAL FLORIDA BRAZILIAN AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE took place at FAU College of Business, last November 15, 2016. The event showcased a vibrant business relation between Florida and Brazil in three different panels: Business, Immigration and Education. The Summit had Opening Remarks made by Monica Ribeiro, President of BBG; Jaime Florez, Florida Governor’s Regional Representative; and Minister Nilo Barroso, Deputy Consul General for the Consulate General of Brazil in Miami. RIC GREEN, President/CEO Greater Beach Pompano Chamber of Commerce was the Invited MC for the event and conducted the seminar.   A substantial program was created and counted with well-credentialed speaker in 3 different subjects.

PROGRAMS

Business Round Table

This is a select group of entrepreneurs and professionals from diverse industry and specialties who get together to create a solid professional network to actively refer business to each other.

 

Objectives:

  • To create a structured setting where BBG members can develop long-term relationships with a common goal of sharing ideas, projects, products, references and/or investments.
  • Exchange solid business referrals between members.
  • Assist members in growing their businesses

 

Meetings’ Frequency:

1st/3rd week of the month for the Miami Business Round Table and Pompano Beach Business Round Table.

2nd/4th week of the month for the Fort Lauderdale Business Round Table.

Meetings’ Duration: 90min.

Maximum Number of Participants per Round Table: 25

Each member is encouraged to bring guests to introduce them to the group and see if they would benefit from joining the BBG and the Round Table. Each Round Table will have a maximum of twenty members in different areas of professional activity. There is no limit in the number of Round Tables to be created.
