The “American Business Culture and Language: Keys to Finding Success in the USA” event, organized by the Brazilian Business Group (BBG), took place on August 20, 2025, at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. Designed as both an educational workshop and a networking opportunity, the event brought together entrepreneurs, professionals, and students eager to better understand how to navigate the U.S. business environment. With a structured program that included networking followed by expert-led presentations, attendees gained direct access to insights on communication styles, cultural expectations, and professional etiquette in the American marketplace.
A central focus of the event was helping international professionals—especially members of the Brazilian business community—bridge cultural and linguistic gaps that often impact success in the United States. Presenters shared practical strategies on topics such as effective communication, relationship-building, and understanding workplace dynamics, all of which are essential for thriving in a highly competitive and fast-paced economy. The session emphasized that success in the U.S. is not determined by technical skills alone, but also by cultural intelligence and the ability to adapt to local business norms.
Beyond its educational value, the event reflected BBG’s broader mission of fostering connection and growth among Brazilian and international professionals in the U.S. By combining knowledge-sharing with networking, the initiative created a supportive environment where attendees could build relationships and exchange experiences. As part of BBG’s ongoing calendar of events, this workshop highlighted the organization’s role in empowering its community with the tools, confidence, and cultural awareness needed to succeed in the American business landscape.
